You know as you get older you see life in a different angle.  As i matured i realize how much i love my family and the people who are close to me.  There are so much memories i have of auntie-g from time i was a little youth until the day she pass away.  like mommy said i miss those weekends we spent together, your wonderful cooking(coconut dumplin, corn harmoni) mmm!, your laughter and jokes.  I remember back in the day i always look forward for when everyone came down to Jamaica day, BOY WE had some real fun times.  you treated everyone of us with" tuff love" and discipline.  LOVE U ALWAYS
Sonia

I remember one great memory with you and Nathanael when he was at your house spending the day with you. You called me at working laughing so hard. As a matter of fact we were talking about it just last week.

Nathanael was listening and dancing to one of Micheal Jackson songs. And when you get into the living room you found him naked dancing. Pants swinging in the air. It was so funny just hearing you telling the story. Even Nathanael remember all the good times you had together. The children surly miss their special week-ends with you. They use to look forward for Fridays. Their bags were pack before i get home and they were ready waiting for me to drop them off.

You were the best dresser, cook, story teller, friend, sister, mother, father, grand-mother, mentor, child of God, ........We Love U. So many things that you miss. So many things....graduations, baptism, proms,weddings,great-grands...etc

LOVE YOU MOMMY.

I don't know how to explain it but your presence in my life was and alwayys will be a positive mark in my heart. I will never try to forget you and never can. Your a remarkable person. We don't have to say it a million times we love you and miss, we see it in each other eyes. You have bless me with something irreplacable, the true meaning of love of christ. Only god know why my wonderful aunty had to go. Wonderful, irreplaceble, remarkable, positive lady. True christ. Luv u can't done.

Carlon you are so right, she was a great person, the best grandmother and any friend you needed. She was a great mentor and when she spoke to you it was not a lecture but wisdom she was passing down. She use to tell me that "You are original don't die a copy" Everyday I wake, I pray and ask her if I'm making her proud (my tears are flowing). When I was younger I was a fool throwing my life away, and when she use to call sometimes I would hear one thing and out it would go. If you only know how I would give anything to hear her voice, to hear her say "Chantal, you must do better than that", or "Chantal, if I don't like what your doing, will God?"

I wish it could be like before when we all would going to montreal and go to the pool on Ward or when she moved down the street to Alexis Nihon and we would walk to the video store and rent movies. There are so many things in life that I wanted her to be here for. There are times when I feel weak, like I cant go on and I would like for her to put her hand on me and start praying. Sometimes I want to just call 514-747-8594 and see if I will get her or her answering machine to hear her say "The only way to have a friend is to be a friend"

I wish I could see her getting dressed to go somewhere so I can ask her where she got her skirt from, so she could say "Your not the only hip one"

Its hard to think of her and have only one memory to share, she was and still is the best person god put on this earth. Its almost five years, but it feels like it was just yesterday.

Some days are happy and some are sad, some days I cry and some days I bawl, but everyday I think of you. I see an image of you in my mind and I can't help but smile.

I miss you more and more everyday, we all do, because you were our rock, our shelter and our guide. I can't wait until I see you again.

I remember i was up there for the summer and my grandmother told me to bring some food upstairs for you, I couldn't look at you because you were in so much pain, but you never showed it, You told me to sit down and we talked about life and how I needed to help my mom out. When you left us I was around twelve, thirteen years old, they had told me and lennon that you left a note sayin you wanted me and lennon to do good by our families, go to school. Well aunty G because of ur motivational speeches that I always kept in my head over the past years even when my father died a year after you I am getting ready to move on to bigger and better things in my schooling, I thank you for that and will always miss you. from your nephew with lots of love R.I.P.

Aunty G, Nana, Grandma                                                                                  No one can or will ever take your place,
You are someone that can't be left behind.
In our hearts there's always a place for you;
You’ll always shine.

You taught us right from wrong and good from bad.
When we realize how much we miss you,
It makes us sad, but happy of the times we had.

Aunty G, you were our inspiration, our key to success,
Your personality was as gentle as a cool summer's breeze,
We love you more than you’ll ever know.
Your stories, your food (coconut dumpling), your laughter will always live on,
In our hearts, body, mind and soul.

What you said and did came straight from your heart,                                  Only you could give a roll on to someone and make us cherish it like it was a million dollars.
In the summer all of us would be at your house,                                           You would say several names before you said the right one.
We had fun, we would go shopping, watch movies, and you gave                   the occasional lectures too,
But what you did and said to us was always smart.

We always feel like we need to run and hide.
As much as we try to talk of your life,
Our feelings for you sometimes get locked up inside,                                        For if we let it out, come flowing will be a River of Jordan.
We Miss You and We Love You
